Only two days in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Those needed to be used wisely. So I went on the Grand Tour including the Sights of LA Movie Star Homes and a peak into the Universal Studios.
First we went to the Santa Monica Pier apparently seen in the Movies Forest Gump and The Sting which I have seen neither. Yeah Yeah Yeah - I know I should have seen Forest Gump.
On we went to Brentwood - reportedly a celebrity hang out - but they where either disguised well - or not there... ;)
He showed us I think Adam Sandlers home and O. J. Simpsons ex-house plus backdoor where apparently a bloody glove was found. Man that was years ago! Who cares - was so bored! We went past the House where the "Prince of Bel Air" was filmed which was actually in a different Neighborhood. Bel Air itself could be not entered by Buses like ours. Oh well - too bad. From those houses all one could see where gates anyways.
On we went to Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive with its expensive Boutiques...
...like Versace ...
... Tiffany...
... Louise Vuitton...
A lovely area - but I am not really into Brand and shopping - so what the heck.
And on to Sunset strip and past the Viper Room. It was opened in 1993 and was partly owned by actor Johnny Depp until 2004. The club is well known for having been the site where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on Halloween morning in 1993.Never the less the driver still told us the club was owned by Depp even though it is not...
