In this region one of my favourite books by Nora Roberts is taking place. Here happens her Dream-Trilogy: Daring to Dream - Margo; Holding the Dream - Laura ; Finding the Dream - Kate. With Margo opening a little Boutique in Canary-Row - imagine actually being there!
Also another one of her Trilogies are set here.
Monterey is noted for its rich history of resident artists beginning in the late 1800s,
